MVHS Astronomy Club meets weekly to investigate and explore the science of space (and other cool science, too). All are welcome to join!
We will be alternating "activity" meetings with "research" meetings. Students have the opportunity to work as part of the Pulsar Search Collaboratory, associated with the Green Bank Observatory, to help search the skies for pulsars!
Astronomy Club is a partnership the with Kenyon College physics department. The faculty and students from Kenyon help us to plan and host a variety of opportunities including visits to Miller Observatory, building robots, solar telescope viewing, and much more. We are endlessly grateful to their expertise and funding!
