Welcome to MVHS
 Get Plugged In
Mount Vernon High School takes great pride in the academic and cocurricular/extracurricular activities offered to students.  While the ultimate goal is for our student body to graduate within four years, meeting the requirements by the local board of education as well as the state, we want students to get plugged into our school community.  We want students to learn to co-exist in a building with many different attitudes, beliefs and experiences.  We will work with students to take ownership in their education, conduct and preparation for the next chapter in life.  We are fortunate for our community partnerships and welcome the engagement in the lives of our student body.  We look forward to serving the youth of our community.
