I have been a classroom teacher for the past 25 years. I love working with students and watching them grow into responsible, young adults who love learning. I taught seventh grade at Mount Vernon Middle School before teaching fifth grade the past 15 years at East Elementary.
I grew up in Archbold, Ohio. I received my bachelor's degree in education from Morehead State University. I also have received my master's degree in administration from Ashland University. I am married to Josh White and have two boys, Andrew (19) and Nolan (16). I currently teach fifth grade science and ELA. In my free time I enjoy spending time with family and friends, exercising, reading, golfing and relaxing.
