Miss Stacey Suarez

I am from Danville, Ohio. Currently, I live just outside of Mount Vernon with my family on a small farm. I teach first grade at Columbia Elementary. I have been teaching for 10 years and I absolutely love my career! My hobbies include gardening, farming, fishing, and making crafts. I look forward to teaching your child and getting to know you!

However, technology is 1:45-2:10 on Friday.)

Notes:

Take Home Folder- Please check your child's Take Home Folder each night. All important information will be in this folder. Also, make sure to send it back to school daily. Thanks!

Homework- I don't require homework in 1st grade, but I do encourage it. I will send home a weekly reading log and one math paper a week. Students will receive a prize after completing five homework assignments.

Library books- Make sure to send in library books no later than Thursday morning. Students will not be permitted to check out more books until the ones they previously checked out are returned.

Transportation changes- Please make sure to write a note to inform the teacher of any transportation changes. We do not allow children to change their normal routine without a note.

Birthday treats- Birthday treats are welcomed in the classroom. Check with the teacher for number of students in the class and for any allergies. We prefer store bought items so we're able to read the labels.

Breakfast- Students are provided a free breakfast at school. We encourage all students to take advantage of our free breakfast.
