Carrie Cheng - Intervention Specialist
I am currently in my 15th year of teaching.  The first four of those years, I was an Intervention Specialist (I.S) at Columbia Elementary. After getting married and moving to South Carolina, I taught first grade and kindergarten for a year and a half.  When we moved back to Ohio, I was an Intervention Specialist for 7th grade at the Middle School for 5 years.  I also worked at Pleasant Street as an I.S. for K-2.  For the past 3 years, I have been an Intervention Specialist for 6th grade at the middle school.

I graduated from Cedarville University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Early Childhood Education, and I have my Master's degree from Ashland University as an Intervention Specialist K-12.

My husband, Alvin, and I live in Mount Vernon with our three children.  Outside of teaching, I enjoy watching OSU football, reading, and traveling.
