Please see the below notification advising of the meal charging policy change through the end of the 23-24 school year; the change was to assist in stopping additional charges from occurring on all student accounts, so parents have the ability to catch up and pay them off. This notification was sent out to all district schools as of Wednesday May 8th, 2024.

The Mount Vernon Board Of Education May 20 meeting will be held at Twin Oak Elementary at 6:00 PM. Superintendent Bill Seder will recognize faculty and staff retiring at the end of the school year. Parking will be available on the lower level.

The Mount Vernon City Schools Food Service Department is sponsoring the 2024 Seamless Summer Option Lunch Food Program. The lunches are free to children between the ages of 18 months and 18 years of age. No proof of income is required.
