Coronavirus Information Coronavirus Information
Mount Vernon City Schools is proactively working with the Knox County Health Department relative to the Coronavirus. While the risk to the general public is low at this time, we believe it is important to proactively plan and address the many issues and concerns that may arise should an outbreak occur. It is also important to know that the Ohio Department of Health (ODH) and the Knox County Health Department stay well informed, releasing frequent updates. We will continue the latest information from the Ohio Department of Health (ODH) and the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) on the school website.
Important Information from Interchurch Social Services

In response to COVID 19 protocol, all offices of Interchurch Social Services are taking steps to minimize risks for staff, volunteers and clients. 

Effective immediately, Food Pantry Assistance and Emergency Financial Aid will be provided by appointment only.  Please call your local office to determine eligibility and to schedule appointments. Food Pantry Assistance will use a pre-packed format available for pick-up at your scheduled time. 

All Thrift Stores are closed until further notice.  We will not accept any donations during that time.

Open Enrollment Picture NEW OPEN ENROLLMENT
Mount Vernon City Schools Open enrollment applications for the 2020-2021 school year will be accepted online only.  The online application form for new open enrollment will be available to be completed and submitted beginning April 1, 2020.   New Open Enrolled Students will be required to enroll through the online registration process.  Click Read More link for details.
