20TH ANNUAL MAY FIESTA
The Mount Vernon High School Choral Department, under the direction of Mrs. Marty Bell, will present its 20th annual “May Fiesta” on Friday and Saturday, May 3 - 4 at 7:30 pm in the High School Theater. The extravaganza will feature the Women’s Chorus and Chorale and a number of small group and solo performances. Come and see what surprises await you with the traditional “blacklight” number. Enjoy an evening of tunes ranging from Broadway to pop, classical literature to radio standards. Watch as the music comes to life with costumes and choreography. The music for this concert was chosen by the students and they assisted in the costuming and choreography. The students will entertain the audience during this fast-paced, high-energy, family-friendly evening of music. The program will last about 2 hours. The Saturday evening performance will highlight the graduating seniors. Come and help celebrate the end of the school year with the MVHS Choral Department. Tickets will be available for purchase at the door starting at 6:45 pm each evening. Reserved seating is $7.00. Get your tickets early and beat the rush!!!
