Pataskala, Ohio (April 26, 2024) - Congratulations to the MVHS Chorale on earning a "Superior" rating at the OMEA State Choir Event on Friday, April 26, 2024 at Watkins Memorial High School. The ensemble moved on after performing at the district level in March.

Chorale performed three songs in the Class C Division: I want to be ready by Jay Althouse, The Lonely Sea by Vicki Tucker Courtney, and Carry the light by Andy Beck. Three vocal adjudicators evaluated their performance on stage. The ensemble also had to perform a sight-reading component for another adjudicator.

The MVHS Chorale is directed by Trevor Garrabrant and accompanied by Aaron VanValkenburg.
