60th Annual Top-N-Pops Jazz Concert
The Mount Vernon City School Music Department is hosting its 60th Annual Top-N-Pops jazz concert on Friday, April 28th in the middle school commons. That’s right, this is our 60th year! Join us for a special evening of jazz music performed by the MVMS Jazz Band, the MVHS Mello Jackets and the premier performance of the Knox County Jazz Orchestra. If that’s not exciting enough you will also get to hear our special guest artist, professional jazz trombonist and Mount Vernon’s own, Vaughn Wiester. The show starts at 7:00PM and the doors open at 6:15PM. Tickets are $5.00 for adults and $3.00 for students/seniors. All proceeds will go right back to our music programs. Soft drinks and snacks will be served. Start your weekend off right with a great evening of Jazz.
