Mount Vernon City Schools has been transitioning to an online registration system this past year. For 2017-2018, the district will be fully transitioned to an online registration platform. Both current and new Open Enrolled Students will be required to enroll through the online registration process.
Parents who are Open Enrolling students to the Mount Vernon City School District must create a “OneView ” account by selecting the parent icon at the top of the district website and then selecting OneView Parent Portal. Once your account is created, you will be directed to the appropriate registration page with two Icons. (New Student or Open Enrolled Student). Select the | Open Enroll a Student | and complete the registration.
For new Open Enrolled students there will no longer be the need to wait in lines to open enroll your students. Complete the open enrollment application and select the save and submit to district button. Once submitted you will receive a time stamped notification of your intent. If you are currently an open enrolled student you will still need to complete this registration. Please make sure that you select the checkbox indicating that you are currently an open enrolled student.
Applications for open enrollment requests will be completed online and submitted beginning April 3, 2017. No applications will be accepted prior to April 3, 2017. The deadline for submitting applications is May 15, 2017. Applicants shall be considered according to board policy and administrative guidelines relative to open enrollment.
