Justin Sanford Named Athletics/Activities Director

Justin Sanford has been selected as Athletics/Activities Director at Mount Vernon City Schools.   Justin Sanford has over 17 years of Athletic Administrator experience including 12 years at Gahanna. Justin’s leadership experience and record of excellence were clearly evident and ultimately led to him being selected as Mount Vernon City Schools next Athletic/Activities Director.

Superintendent William Seder Jr. explained that “A selection committee was formed when Mark Shively announced his resignation this spring. After a thorough search, and several rounds of interviews with several very qualified candidates I am proud to announce Justin Sanford as the new Athletics/Activities Director for Mount Vernon City Schools. "

"Justin is an accomplished Athletic Director with a passion and drive that is infectious. Under his guidance and leadership, Gahanna athletic teams won 63 OCC conference tiles, 33 District championships, 2-State Runner- ups and 4- State Championships. We are excited to welcome Justin Sanford to Mount Vernon family and look forward to his leadership.”
