Mr. Will has put together a video that shows general direction to commencement staging for the processional leading into parking for the commencement ceremony and directions for graduates from car to stage, back to vehicle and exit.

Continuing Open Enrollment written on chalkboard. Continuing Open Enrollment for the 2020-2021 School Year
Continuing Open Enrollment is for students who are currently attending Mount Vernon School District and desire to continue open enrollment with the District for the 2020-2021 school year.  Complete your application through the Parent Portal on the District web site. Instructions for Continuing Open Enrollment are located on the Parent Resources Page.  Currently open enrolled students will have until April 10 to complete this process.   If your address has changed since your last application, please update your child's emergency medical form in the Parent Portal on the District web site and you will also need to provide proof of residency.   Instructions for Change of Address are also located on the Parent Resource Page.

Due to the COVID 19 situation, the Kindergarten registration process has changed for the 2020-2021 school year.   The home attendance area building will now call parents to schedule an appointment during the summer months.  Registration appointments will begin in August.

Ohio Department of Medicaid Logo Ohio Medicaid School Program Annual Notice
The Mt Vernon City School District has the opportunity to receive  Federal Medicaid dollars through a program called the Ohio Medicaid  School Program (MSP). Through this program, school districts can receive  Medicaid dollars for services such as Speech, Audiology, Physical  Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Nursing, Psychology, Counseling, and  Social Work services.  Read More... for program details. 
 
MVHS Senior Awards Program 2020

Please join us in recognizing the accomplishments of Mount Vernon High Students through the Senior Awards Virtual Program tonight, May 21st. We are excited to share the endeavors of our students with the Mount Vernon City Schools Community. We will begin our program at 6:15 PM and it can be accessed from that point at any time.

Academic Booster Club Awards Program 2020

We are excited to highlight the academic excellence of our MVHS students recognized tonight through our virtual Academic Booster Awards Program. Please share in our celebration of the efforts exhibited in the many academic pursuits of our students culminating in this night's presentation. I would like to give a personal thank you to Mr. Glenn Peyton in his production of tonight's presentation.
