Welcome to the library home page!

I received my Bachelor's degree from Mount Vernon Nazarene University in 1999. I began my position as Library and Media Specialist at Wiggin Street in 2014. Our weekly library time includes a read aloud followed by creative and interactive centers that build an excitement for reading and writing. Classes also come to the library twice each month for a technology skills class.  Students will use this time to develop and practice grade level appropriate technology skills that are used in their classrooms.  

I believe that every student can learn to love reading! It is my goal to help each child discover what they enjoy reading and to build an excitement for books at Wiggin Street Elementary. I also believe that elementary students are capable of learning important technology skills that will help them develop valuable skills to become life long learners.
