Dear First Grade Parents,

The Ohio Department of Education will be developing guidance for schools to ensure the continuity of education and important student services. We are sending home bags of work that needs to be completed during this time off. We have also developed a list of activities you can do with your child over the course of the three weeks. We are listing activities that are available online and activities you can do without internet access. We hope that students continue to read and write over this extended time so they don't lose any growth they have made so far this year. We are sending home extra reading logs for you to record your child’s reading. We are having a contest to see which class brings back the most reading logs. The class with the most reading logs will have an ice cream party!

We appreciate all of your hard work during this time. If you have any questions or concerns, please make sure you contact us! Thank you for all of your help.
