Meghan Noonan MA CF-SLP

Speech-Language Pathologist

Hello! My name is Meghan Noonan and I am excited to be the Speech-Language Pathologist at Dan Emmett Elementary this school year. This will be my first year as an SLP. I attended Augustana College in Rock Island, IL and received my bachelors in Communication Sciences and Disorders in 2019. In May 2021, I graduated from Miami University (Oxford, OH) with my masters in Speech-Language Pathology. During my time at Miami I was a member of the Children’s Acquisition of Language and Literacy research lab. I completed my masters thesis research on the distinctive features of letters and alphabet acquisition. This November 2021, I will be virtually presenting my thesis at the annual American Speech and Hearing Association (ASHA) conference in Washington D.C. I am very excited for this opportunity!

I grew up in the Columbus area and currently reside in the Sunbury/Galena area. In my free time I love to sing in choirs, travel, and spend time with my family’s dog Augie. I’m looking forward to a great school year!
