Mrs. Mary Jo Behrensmeyer
Mrs. Behrensmeyer has been teaching Latin for 39 years.  She holds undergraduate and graduate degrees in Classical Studies and Archaeology from Indiana University.  She has done additional work in Archaeology  from the American Academy in Rome, the American School of Classical Studies in Athens, Greece, Bar Ilan University in Tel Aviv, Hebrew University, et al.  She has served as a Senior Staff Archaeologist at the Ohio State University Excavations at Isthmia Greece as a conservator of the largest monochrome mosaic east of Rome.  She has done further archaeology/research at Pompeii, Caesarea Maritima, Israel, Petra, war sites of Julius Caesar in France, Roman sites in Egypt, Turkey and Jordan, and in the summer of 2015 in Tunis Africa at the site of Ancient Carthage.  
She recently returned from Sicily where she joined Cambridge University in a workshop on Latin Verse.
