I have been teaching since 1997, after graduating from Mount Vernon Nazarene University. I earned my Masters Degree from Marygrove College in 2000 and taught at Utica Elementary School until 2011 when I joined the staff at Pleasant Street Elementary as the Title I Math teacher. I became licensed as a Master Teacher in Ohio in 2020. This is my 8th year teaching third grade at Pleasant Street.
Outside of school, I enjoy the great outdoors, traveling (I've visited all 50 states), rock collecting, reading, playing with LEGOs, designing book covers for Mrs. Bartal with Photoshop, and playing guitar.
