Video from the Superintendent

We would like to welcome you to the Mount Vernon City Schools web site.  The 2011-2012 school year has arrived and we are excited about the educational opportunities available to our children this year.  We will do our best to maintain a web site that will provide relevant and timely information for our students, staff, parents and community.

School closings, delays and scheduling changes will be on the front page of our web site.  Job information, school calendar, building information and other links give up-to-date information that you will find extremely useful.

If you have any other questions, you may e-mail or call us at 397-7422.

Respectfully,

Stephen J. Short

Superintendent
