Principal Margy Arck and Supenintendent Bill Seder recognize Caty Hayes' service to Dan Emmett Elementary School December Board Meeting Resolution
The Mount Vernon City School Board passed a resolution Monday night at its regularly scheduled board meeting for a replacement 'Permanent Improvement' tax levy.   The levy would be a zero '0' tax increase to district residents replacing an expiring bond issue that was passed in 1993 to build Mount Vernon Middle School.  Please feel free to review the discussion shared around this topic from the video.  The Board also recognized Catie Hayes, MVNU Director of Community and International Ministries for support and service to Dan Emmett Elementary School.
Visit Board of Education Videos for coverage of Monday's Board Meeting.  Resolution and discussion explaining the levy starts 40:35 and ends 1:00:54.
