Board Meeting Calendar Notification October Board Meeting at Twin Oak
The Mount Vernon Board Of Education met in regular session Monday evening.  In addition to agenda items, the Board discussed the District's continued response to the COVID-19 crisis as we begin our full return of students to start the second 9-weeks.  Board Members expressed concern for area citizens and commended faculty, staff, and students for all of their efforts throughout the first 9-weeks.   Superintend Seder highlighted Bus Safety Week - Red Lights Mean Stop.  He also notified the board that the school breakfast and lunch program will now being free to all students, K-12 through the end of the school year.  Select the link below to view the board meeting. 0 h 49 min.

Ohio Department of Medicaid Logo Ohio Medicaid School Program Annual Notice
The Mt Vernon City School District has the opportunity to receive  Federal Medicaid dollars through a program called the Ohio Medicaid  School Program (MSP). Through this program, school districts can receive  Medicaid dollars for services such as Speech, Audiology, Physical  Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Nursing, Psychology, Counseling, and  Social Work services.  Read More... for program details.
